Water Infrastructure

Water infrastructure is needed to supply citizens, communities, businesses and industries with potable water. It includes systems of water supply, treatment, storage, water resource management, flood prevention and hydropower.

The Kingdom of Bahrain’s water related infrastructure consists mainly of desalination and wastewater treatment plants.
